Women Creative Activities Volunteer

As a Creative Activities Volunteer, you will support staff with facilitating creative activities for clients. We are looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and friendly. In this role, you will be supporting us with all or some of the following tasks:

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting monthly or fortnightly creative activities sessions with clients arranged by staff
• Adhering to St Mungo’s Policies and Procedures at all times
• Helping prepare for sessions
• Building rapport with clients

Required Skills

• Enthusiasm
• Good organisational skills and timekeeping
• Good communication, listening skills and willingness to help others
• Creativity and/or skills in certain creative pursuits
• An understanding of the causes of homelessness, and its impact
• Genuine interest in and commitment to St Mungo’s work and client group
• An understanding of and commitment to diversity & equality

Locations & Time Commitments

• Bristol- Tuesday’s, 1:30pm-3:30pm, fortnightly.

We work directly with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, providing them with services to find paths away from the homelessness, for good. We also influence policy makers to make positive change, through the power of our clients’ voices our operational expertise.
