Part-Time Family Housekeeper | Flexible Hours (Bath)

Overview

A welcoming family in Bath are looking for an organised and friendly housekeeper to offer part‑time support until August, as they expect their second baby. The role involves maintaining the household, handling laundry and ironing, running the dishwasher, assisting with light cleaning, and helping to prepare vegetables for the evening meal.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the house tidy and organised
• Handle laundry and ironing duties
• Unload and load the dishwasher
• Assist with light household cleaning (cleaners are employed for deeper work)
• Help prepare vegetables for evening meals
• Follow the mother’s instructions as the baby’s arrival approaches

Working Hours and Compensation

• Fixed‑term position until August
• Twice a week, 3 hours per day (flexible days and times)
• Start date – Asap
• Pay – £20 gross per hour

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum two years’ experience in housekeeping
• Current paediatric first aid certificate
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and the ability to work independently while taking guidance from the mother
• Must hold an up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate and have 2 professional referees (one of whom must be a current or former employer)

Other Information

• Limited to the home of the client – no pets present
• Driving licence not required
