Key Responsibilities
- Supporting individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
- Promoting independence and encouraging development of life skills
- Building positive relationships with service users, families, and team members
- Participating in engaging activities like walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
- Ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of all service users by observing, monitoring, and recording their conditions
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to work above 24 hours per week
- A valid driver’s license is essential for supporting residents in the community, including attending activities or hobbies
