Contract and Pay Rate
Earnings are £16.17 per hour, including average anticipated tronc. Positions are available at full time and part time. Full time – permanent contract, 30 hours per week, usually shifts of 16:00‑00:00 mid‑week and 16:00‑01:00 weekend, working any five days out of seven.
Primary Role Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with our menu specifications, including classic and signature cocktails.
- Complete bar set‑up at the start of a service, including preparing garnishes, stocking glassware and performing cleaning duties.
- Carry out full bar close‑down procedure, ensuring the bar is fully cleaned and ready for the following shift.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, provide guests with recommendations and understand allergens present.
- Drive sales through excellent service, genuine guest engagement and personalised recommendations.
- Support the bar floor team proactively when required.
Applicant Requirements
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a bar environment.
- Strong foundational knowledge of mixing classic cocktails.
- Understanding of responsible sale of alcohol, with full training provided.
- Outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently at pace and be proactive throughout the shift.
- Willing and able to pour, serve and sell alcohol.
- Enthusiastic individual who promotes a culture of positivity.
- Task‑oriented with pride for work and attention to detail.
- Flexible with shift patterns and available around the business needs.
