Job Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Band 2 Housekeeper to join the Wrekin Midwife‑Led unit at The Princess Royal Hospital. The role ensures consumables are ordered, stored and available, supports staff with cleaning patient environments, and requires competence with computers, ordering processes and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate stocks of consumables meet service requirements and that all equipment is clean and functional.
• Assist in the transfer of patients and equipment.
• Provide non‑clinical support to the unit team under the supervision of Registered Midwives.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, support nutritional needs by ordering and delivering catering supplies, and keep stocks at adequate levels.
