School Cleaner Coventry (CV7)

Job Overview

School cleaner required Monday to Friday for a school in Coventry (CV7). The contract lasts 42 weeks (39 term‑time weeks plus 3 weeks of deep cleaning). Hours are 3 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week.

Pay

£12.21 per hour.

Key Duties

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
• Cleaning corridors and toilets
• Carrying out deep cleaning during the 3 additional holiday weeks as scheduled by the area manager
• Using commercial cleaning equipment and products safely
• Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Managing time efficiently to cover assigned sites within scheduled hours

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (full training provided)
• Enhanced DBS required; if not held, an ID will be needed to obtain one
• At least two references required
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible to adapt to different site requirements
