Receptionist
We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team as a Receptionist. The role focuses on maximizing room revenues, providing efficient and courteous service, and ensuring total guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Be familiar with the day’s business including arrivals, departures, and special requests.
- Deal with guests promptly upon arrival and departure, following Company Standards for check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Understand guests’ requirements when checking in or out.
- Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all hotel services, facilities, and local area to assist guests effectively.
- Keep the team updated by attending daily meetings.
- Maximise sales through upselling, incentives and promotions.
- Handle all customer enquiries and booking requests promptly, courteously and efficiently.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Operate the telephone system in line with operating and Company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or a customer‑related role.
- Excellent customer service skills and good organisational abilities.
- Ability to make decisions in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy it.
- Strong communication skills with colleagues and guests.
- Proficiency using phone and computer systems.
