Overview
The role involves maintaining the ward environment and working collaboratively with clients to attend to housekeeping tasks within the unit. The housekeeper will support the registered nurse and other relevant professional practitioners, where appropriate. This position is part‑time and the salary will be pro‑rate.
Responsibilities
- Ensure upkeep of the ward environment.
- Attend to housekeeping tasks within the unit.
- Collaborate with clients and support clinical staff, including registered nurses and other relevant practitioners.
- Act as an inspirational leader within the nursing family, displaying caring, compassion and motivation.
Requirements
- Current Membership/Record of the PVG Scheme for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult). If not a current member, a successful application to Disclosure Scotland and satisfactory clearance is required before commencing.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and support nursing staff.
- Relevant experience or qualifications in nursing, care or a related field (where applicable).
- Legal permission to work in the United Kingdom.
