We’re looking for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure scheme delivering complex civils works across earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, utilities and enabling works. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced site environment and can confidently manage engineering teams, subcontractors and programme delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a section of works from planning through to delivery
• Lead and coordinate Site Engineers and Section Engineers
• Drive health & safety compliance including RAMS and permits to work
• Oversee quality inspections, audits and handover documentation
• Monitor programme performance, productivity and subcontractor delivery
• Resolve technical and construction issues alongside design teams
• Support cost control, reporting and commercial activities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent on major civils or infrastructure projects
• Strong background in earthworks, RC, utilities or enabling works
• Excellent understanding of QA processes, temporary works and site safety
• Ability to manage subcontractors and engineering teams effectively
• CSCS Card and SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexible to work nights/weekends where required
