Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but we also have opportunities for those who want fewer hours, down to a minimum of 12.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve shoppers better every day.

- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Practice the training received safely, effectively and brilliantly for customers.

- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Understand the store’s performance and contribute to driving service, sales, reducing waste and delivering profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Live the Tesco values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
