Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant
Job Description
The Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant supports all housekeeping and laundry duties within Fountains Lodge Care Home, ensuring a clean, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Contract
Permanent – Part Time
Hours
25 hours per week, covering days. Flexibility is essential.
Salary
£13.30 – £14.30 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of laundry within the home.
- Wash, dry, iron and repair residents’ clothing as needed.
- Manage linen stocks and raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home in collaboration with other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
- Vacuum, mop, polish floors and keep communal areas and bedrooms in good condition.
Key Skills & Qualifications
You take pride in ensuring your work is completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. You are capable of managing multiple requests simultaneously, multitask effectively, and collaborate with other teams to keep residents satisfied.
