Responsibilities

We require support 24 hours per day with 2:1 staffing during the day and night staff who may shift to sleepovers or smart technology as the residents settle into their new homes. Shift patterns are likely to be 3.30pm – 11pm, sleepover, 7am – 3.30pm. Your role is to provide person-centred support, promote choice, independence and overall wellbeing. This includes supporting activities such as walking, cycling, arts and crafts, discos and dances, baking and cooking, family visits, playing pool, jigsaw puzzles, tabletop activities, and other recreational pursuits. You will also facilitate community outings – gym, swimming, pubs, restaurants and clubs.

Qualifications

  • SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience working with adults with learning disability and complex needs.
  • Experience in social care if lacking formal qualification.
  • Female colleague required – genuine occupational requirement.
  • Manual UK driving licence.
  • Flexible, reliable, and motivated.
