Advanced Support Worker – Waking Nights (Inverness)

We are recruiting an Advanced Support Worker for a Waking Nights role in Inverness. UK driving licence is essential. You will support a young gentleman diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mild–Moderate Learning Disability, Anxiety and obsessive–compulsive disorder to help him live his Best Life Bolder.

Responsibilities

  • Help the gentleman with his daily routines and experiences, providing structure and consistency to promote regulation and safety.
  • Build trusting and positive relationships to support his wellbeing.
  • Maintain a calm, consistent, and unconditionally positive approach to care.
  • Engage in reflective practice to ensure the highest quality support.
  • Mentor colleagues and share knowledge where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • UK driving licence.
  • Level 3 qualification in Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience with mental health, autism and forensic backgrounds.
  • Experience in Positive Behavioural Support strategies.
  • Background in supporting people with autism and obsessive‑compulsive disorder desirable.
  • Strong skills in building relationships, mentoring and continuous improvement.

Additional Information

Selected candidates will undertake transitional work in Grimsby before the gentleman moves into his new home at the end of March 2026. The role may include overnight stays. All travel and hotel expenses will be paid for.
