General Labourer – Foundry WorkshopWe are currently seeking a General Labourer to join our busy foundry workshop team.Key Responsibilities:• Assisting the foundry team with knock-out operations (removing sand from castings using hammers and hand tools)• Loading and managing the skip/waste area• Preparing finished items for dispatch• Unloading and receiving deliveries• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workshop environment• Supporting general workshop duties as requiredRequirements:• Must adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times• Physically fit and able to carry out a demanding, hands-on role• Comfortable working in a industrial workshop environment• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team playerHours of Work:• Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm• Friday: 6:00am – 12:30pmAdditional Information:This is a temporary position initially, with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate may receive training in moulding and furnace operations, offering long-term development within the company.
