Position
Funeral Arranger – Part Time – 25 hours per week.
Pay: £17,305 to £17,657 per annum.
Location: Payne & Sons Funeral Directors – Hampden Park.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 15:00.
Opportunity
Based at Payne & Sons Funeral Directors – Hampden Park, Funeral Arrangers are a very special part of the team. They offer a warm welcome and guide families through the whole funeral process, combining strong interpersonal skills, attentive listening, precision and administrative competence.
Responsibilities
- Support families in making funeral arrangements.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Provide a detailed handover to the Funeral Director so every detail goes to plan on the day.
- Build strong working relationships with families and partner organisations in the community.
- Organise fundraising activities to support local community organisations.

Salary Note
In July 2026 salary will increase to £17,875 to £18,344 per annum. All salaries include a £781.25 per annum Weighting Allowance.
