We are currently recruiting for a General Workshop Assistant to join our team. This is a hands‑on role supporting day‑to‑day workshop and operational activities, offering excellent opportunities to develop new skills within a busy environment. Full training will be provided where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out shot blasting activities (training provided)
- Drive company vehicles as required (full UK driving licence essential)
- Support general workshop duties including sawing, drilling, and basic fabrication tasks
- Assist with goods in / goods out processes
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Manage and prioritise workload effectively within a busy workshop
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and attention to detail
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
- Follow company procedures and support ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
- Applicants must be over 25 years old (due to company vehicle insurance requirements)
