General Labourers – Newcastle

UKR Group is looking for 3x experienced General Labourers to start ASAP in a job in Newcastle, England.

Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled tradespeople with construction, maintenance, or repair tasks.
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment on site.
• Preparing work areas by cleaning and removing debris.
• Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete or asphalt.
• Operating basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as scaffolding and barriers.
• Following health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
• Performing general site clean-up and maintenance.
• Transporting materials between locations as directed by supervisors.
• Assisting with deliveries and stock control.

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of construction and site safety practices.
• Good hand–eye coordination.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
• Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• CSCS Card
• Previous experience in a labouring or construction role
