Hours: 5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 17:30 – 18:30

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to work within a professional banking environment in Haywards Heath. This is a part-time evening role offering consistent weekday hours with the opportunity to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning customer areas, offices, and staff facilities
• Maintaining washrooms and hygiene standards
• Vacuuming, dusting, and general upkeep
• Ensuring the site is clean, safe and presentable
• Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently (lone working required)
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and using alarm systems
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused

Compliance Requirements

• Right to Work in the UK
• Basic DBS check required
• Adverse financial check required
• Employment reference covering the last 12 months

Additional Information

• Telephone-based time and attendance system must be used (training provided)
