LGV Driver Trainee – Highway Maintenance & Winter Shifts

Kirklees Metropolitan Council is seeking Roadworker/trainee LGV drivers to join our team in major highway and bridge projects within Derbyshire. This position starts as a fixed term for 18 months, with potential progression to a permanent role with successful completion of training.

Responsibilities include emergency services during adverse weather and road maintenance tasks. Candidates should have a full driving licence and experience in highways maintenance. We offer a supportive environment with generous benefits, including a local government pension scheme.
