Cleaner | Part time | 25 hours per week (Mon–Fri)

Actual Salary: £18,805 (£14.41 per hour)

Hours: 7 AM – 12 PM, 25 hours per week

Location: National Museums Collection Centre, Granton (Fully On‑Site)

About the Cleaner role

Our cleaners are an essential part of the team, ensuring customer‑facing and employee areas are clean and tidy, and that visitors experience the sense of pride we instil within the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties across the museum.
• Contribute to an overall positive visitor experience.
• Operate cleaning machinery and equipment as required.

Skills and Experience

• Understanding of cleaning and hygiene techniques and procedures.
• Proven experience of working within a team environment.
• Proven previous relevant cleaning experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
