Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Laborer / Welder to join our production team. This hands‑on role supports standard laborer duties, general welding, repair work, and production operations in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Identify basic component parts and follow established work procedures.
- Accurately and legibly complete production documents on time.
- Understand and follow general quality requirements.
- Grind, clean, and inspect welds.
- Repair cracks and fill holes as needed.
- Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated ferrous components according to instructions.
- Use tools and welding equipment in a mechanical/technical setting.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, safe work practices, and established company policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experience/training.
- Minimum 1–3 years of welding experience preferred.
- Stick and MIG welding experience preferred.
- Welding certification preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret quality requirements, work instructions, procedures, production schedules, measurements, shipping and receiving documents, and tagging.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers.
- Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructions.
- Ability to multitask, work under time constraints, meet deadlines, identify problems, and resolve issues efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Frequent use of hands to handle, feel, and operate tools or materials.
- Regular ability to talk and hear in a production environment.
- Occasional sitting.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Indoor industrial manufacturing setting.
- Exposure to wet, hot, or humid conditions that are not weather‑related.
- Work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
- Noise level may occasionally be loud.
- This is an in‑person position and is not remote.
