Recycling Operative – Portsmouth – Temp Cover

Night Shifts | Monday to Friday | 18:00-06:00 | Pay £12.71ph

Wild Recruitment are looking for Recycling Operatives who would be interested in covering on a temporary basis for a busy waste and recycling company in Tipner, Portsmouth

This is for an immediate start to cover approx 3 weeks work with the possibility of an extension

The Job

• Working on a picking line, sorting through commercial and domestic rubbish from skips
• Separating wood, metal and plastic into bins
• Lifting moving and loading materials safely
• Ensuring materials meet recycling standards before processing
• Wearing PPE, reporting hazards, and working safely around plant machinery

Requirements

• Must be able to work night shifts
• Comfortable with heavy lifting as some manual handling may be involved
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
