New Opening Server / Waiter / Waitress – Leeds, West Yorkshire

Dishoom is opening a brand‑new café in Leeds in July 2026 and we are looking for friendly, attentive and organised hospitality professionals to join our team from that date.

How we’ll support you

What to expect

• Hourly pay of £19‑20 (inclusive of tronc) based on the last three months’ average; paid monthly.
• Full‑time role working 5 days a week – Monday through Sunday; daytime and evening shifts are required, no late‑night shifts.
• A weekly rota is provided at least six days in advance.
• Access to award‑winning training programmes. 211 staff were promoted last year.
• Standard holiday entitlement, paid at your usual rate. Our sites close on Christmas Day and Boxing Day; an additional day is provided for parents to take their children to the first day of school.
• No uniform – smart casual with trainers is acceptable.

As a Server / Waiter / Waitress

• Greet guests with a warm smile and make them feel welcomed.
• Show expert knowledge of all drinks, bar snacks, curries, sharing plates and signature Dishoom dishes.
• Ensure a smooth guest experience, manage your section, and communicate clearly with the team so that nothing goes amiss.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Server / Waiter / Waitress in a high‑volume restaurant, following detailed service steps (including allergen procedures) and managing a busy section.
• A desire to grow – promotions to Head Waiter are from within our team and we support leadership development through our Masterclass programme.
