Clacton‑On‑Sea, two bungalows providing shared supported living accommodation for up to 5 people.

Overview

We are currently recruiting for support workers to join our brand‑new service. Foots Farm Lane is due to open in June 2026 and will offer a supportive environment for young adults with complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the journey.

Role: Support Worker

You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a challenging role with huge rewards.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
  • Plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
  • Assist with personal care, including support with eating and administering medication.
  • Help plan and participate in enjoyable days out.
  • Promote independence and make a positive impact on people’s lives.

  • A caring attitude, passion for supporting others and a motivation to help them reach goals.
  • A team player who works effectively with colleagues.
  • Resilience to keep going during difficult times and confidence to ask for support if needed.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
