Job Overview

Food and Beverage Assistant – Temporary (Bank) at Moorlands Lodge Care Home, Portsmouth Road – Surrey. The role supports residents during dining, ensuring a hygienic, pleasant experience while respecting dietary needs. The position is temporary with varied shift options.

Shift Details

Available shifts: 7:00 am‑3:00 pm, 7:00 am‑7:00 pm, 12:00 pm‑8:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal selection and support during dining.
• Set tables according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean front‑of‑house area and keep crockery tidy.
• Replenish homemade cakes, biscuits, finger food and fresh fruit throughout the day.
• Ensure resident dietary requirements are observed.

Qualifications & Experience

• High standards of personal hygiene.
• Compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
• Experience working in a similar setting (restaurant or hotel) is desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
