About The Role
To provide a welcoming function to customers at Oakland Village as part of a 24 hour service, raising any concerns, and reporting these in line with policy and procedure.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively approach the promotion of traditional values, demonstrating pride in the work and service delivery.
- To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations.
- Attending all training courses and delivering on the outcomes.
- Receiving visitors and customers at reception in a professional, polite and courteous manner and deal with all routine enquiries, challenging where appropriate.
- Effectively manage own workload.
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Effectively communicate across all mediums.
- Proactively approach the promotion of traditional values, demonstrating pride in the work and service delivery.
- Undertaking routine checks to ensure security, health and safety and general tidiness.
- Co‑ordinating access for services to the building.
- Keeping accurate and appropriate recordings of activities undertaken throughout the shift.
- Liaising with support staff to ensure the customer’s needs are continually met.
- To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations.
- Attending all training courses and delivering on the outcomes.
- Any other duties as required by the role.
Who we’re looking for?
- General administration experience of working within a busy reception.
- Experience of processing documents in accordance with written procedures.
- Experience of working with Microsoft applications.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
