We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team at Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood, Essex. This is a temporary position with a one‑day assignment on the 31st of May 2026.
The shift will begin at 11:00 am and end at 4:00 pm, with a payment rate of £69.50 for the day. You will be supported by the existing housekeeping team and have access to all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities
- General Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming various areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, waiting areas, and offices.
- Linen Management: Collecting dirty linens, washing, drying, and folding them, as well as stocking clean linens in designated areas.
- Waste Disposal: Properly disposing of rubbish and medical waste following health and safety guidelines.
- Infection Control: Using appropriate cleaning products and techniques to prevent the spread of infections.
This role requires someone who is physically fit, as you will be on your feet for most of the shift and may need to lift heavy objects. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently are also essential qualities for a successful Housekeeper.
