Our mission is to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential. Volunteers are essential to Change Grow Live, bringing valuable skills, lived experience, and passion that strengthen our teams, improve outcomes, help us break down barriers and supports meaningful change. We are committed to valuing, supporting, and developing our volunteers.
As a Women’s Group Support Volunteer, you will work alongside our Recovery Coordinators to co-facilitate our Women’s Group on Friday mornings. You will:
- Welcome attendees into a safe space and encourage their engagement throughout the session
- Help set up the group room before the session and clear it afterward
- Act as a positive role model for participants
- Make appointment reminders and make wellbeing phone calls
- Assist people to self-refer for support and input data into our record-management systems
It is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for the successful applicant to be female.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a full-time or part-time volunteer is acceptable. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check level 2 disclosure with PVG will be required.
