What will my role include?
Stock room opportunity in our Clifton Village charity shop on: 3 Boyce’s Avenue, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 4AA
- Prepare goods for sale; sorting through new donations and organising into categories
- Steaming and hanging garments to a high standard ready for the shop floor
- Some interaction with customers in store and accepting donations from the public
- Helping to identify items which may be suited to our eBay shop at Avonmouth
- Supporting on the shop floor where required
What qualities do I need?
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently when required
- Good listening and communication skills
- Prepared to handle a variety of goods in a busy working environment
- Friendly and polite when interacting with volunteers, staff, and customers
- Hard working with a positive attitude
- Interest in fashion or books can be utilised in store
- Ability to work in a thorough manner with great attention to detail
How much time do I need to commit?
We would ideally be looking for 4 hours per week, but the role can be flexible around your lectures and other commitments; we can work together to find a time which best fits in with your lifestyle.
