Night Shift Warehouse Operative

Job Description

A day in the life of a NIGHT SHIFT Warehouse Operative involves using in‑house systems to ensure parcels are dispatched to the correct destinations. This includes scanning parcels accurately and sorting them into the correct loading bays ready for delivery.

Attention to detail and taking pride in your work are essential, as every colleague plays an important role in the parcel’s journey to the customer. Parcels should be handled with care to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.

The warehouse is a welcoming and supportive environment, with management available to assist whenever needed. All colleagues work together with a collaborative approach to achieve the same goal.

Pay

• £12.71 per hour
• Overtime available

Requirements

• Ability to cope with physical work in a fast‑paced environment
• Reliability and punctuality
• Good attention to detail
• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures
• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse systems is beneficial
• Flexible approach to shifts and duties
• Ability to work as part of a team
• No criminal convictions – a DBS check will be required before starting work
