Job Title: Waking NightsSupport Worker
Location: Market Harborough
Contract: Permanent, Full time, 36 hours per week
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Shifts: 19:00-07:00 – 2-3 shifts per week available across a 7 day period
Are you passionate about empowering adults with additional needs to live fulfilling, independent lives? We are recruiting full-time Waking NightSupport Workers to join a high-quality Supported Living service supporting adults aged 18–65 with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.
This is a varied, meaningful role where you’ll work closely with individuals in their home and community, helping them build confidence, develop skills and enjoy new experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing person?centred overnight support in line with individual care plans
- Monitoring wellbeing, responding to needs and ensuring a safe, calm environment
- Supporting with personal care, bedtime routines and morning transitions
- Completing night?time household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and maintaining communal areas
- Recording accurate, objective notes and handing over key information to the day team
- Administering medication in line with policy (training provided)
- Promoting dignity, respect and independence at all times
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals when required
What we’re looking for
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- Awareness of learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the service
- Ability to work 19:00-07:00 shifts across weekdays and weekends
Experience in care is desirable but not essential — values, reliability and compassion are what matter most.
