Volunteer Shop Team Member

Mary’s Living & Giving for Save the Children provides a retail experience that helps raise vital funds for children worldwide. The shop team operates in London villages, selling clothing and household goods. Volunteers are expected to be passionate, team‑oriented, and good representatives of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and pricing shop stock.
• Engaging with customers at the point of sale.
• Operating the till and ringing items through the checkout.
• Creating and maintaining appealing window displays.
• Keeping the shop floor organised and tidy.

Requirements

• Over 18 years old.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow Save the Children policies.
• Representing Save the Children in a positive manner.
• No prior retail experience required – full training will be provided.

This is a voluntary, unpaid role based in the UK. The organisation is unable to provide visa sponsorship or support.
