RECEPTIONIST, FRONT OFFICE

39 hours, 5 days per week

Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park is looking for a Receptionist to join our Front of House team.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greeting guests upon check‑in and check‑out, ensuring our standards are met at all times.
  • Preparing reports such as credit check and departures.
  • Issuing refunds, invoices and guest gift cards.
  • Answering guest phone calls and collaborating with other departments to fulfil guest requests.

You will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and the occasional night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

Qualifications

To be a successful Receptionist candidate, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a passion for delivering high quality customer service. You will display resilience and a positive, can‑do attitude. Previous hospitality experience is beneficial, but not essential.
