Receptionist/Admin Officer

Responsibilities

• Managing visitor access in accordance with security and safeguarding procedures
• Deal with face to face, telephone and general email enquiries from a range of people including pupils, parents, staff, contractors and other visitors
• Receive deliveries and follow internal procedures to distribute efficiently
• Take responsibility of the reception area, making sure it is tidy and welcoming.
• Verify ID documentation of visitors, agency staff and contractors
• Provide administrative support to the Headteacher and other Senior Leaders, as directed
• Update and maintain management information systems

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a busy reception or an administrative environment, good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team, a ‘can do’ attitude and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
