Your new role
- Supporting senior managers with financial analysis, advice, and reporting to drive informed decision-making
- Developing robust business cases, investment appraisals, and service development proposals
- Providing detailed variance analysis and recommending solutions to address financial risks and pressures
- Supporting strategic financial planning, including identifying interdependencies, risks, and resource requirements
- Contributing to capital and financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely data
- Assisting with annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and monthly performance reporting
- Monitoring budgets and supporting budget holders to achieve financial targets
- Enhancing financial controls, policies, and reporting processes
- Engaging with internal and external audit processes and implementing recommendations
- Delivering financial training and guidance to non-finance stakeholders
What you’ll need to succeed
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience developing business cases and delivering financial analysis within a complex organisation
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
