We’re partnered with a leading FinTech based in Manchester who are now looking for a Senior Backend Engineer as they grow a new team to help scale new products and projects.
This role will be supporting high-performing engineering teams whilst owning the end-to-end delivery of projects and you’ll be involved across the requirements and architecture through to deployment, observability and long-term reliability. You will lead high-performing engineering teams while owning the end-to-end delivery of mission-critical software. This includes everything from requirements and architecture through to deployment, observability, and long-term reliability. Own the full software delivery lifecycle across design, build, test, deploy and operate Drive best practices across coding standards, testing, automation and DevOps Experience in mentoring and leading engineering teams building distributed systems and microservices Java, Spring and scalable system architecture experience with exposure to AI development and integration Good experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices
