We are seeking experienced Payments Solution Architects to support a major UK banking payments modernisation programme. The successful candidates will play a key role in transforming and migrating legacy payment platforms into a modern Payments Hub, enabling scalable, compliant and ISO 20022-native payment processing across multiple UK and international payment schemes.

Design and govern end-to-end payments architecture across orchestration, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, exceptions and returns • Support the migration of legacy payment systems into a modern Payments Hub environment • Support large-scale transformation programmes across multiple payment rails and banking platforms

Extensive experience across payment orchestration, order management, clearing, settlement, reconciliations, exceptions and returns • Deep expertise in ISO 20022, including message structures, validation, data models and scheme-specific variations • Proven experience designing or reviewing end-to-end ISO 20022 implementations • Strong Solution Architecture experience within complex banking or financial services environments • Experience with APIs, microservices and cloud platforms such as AWS • Exposure to large-scale banking or payments transformation programmes
