Manufacturing Technician/Engineer – Electro-Mechanical Systems – Southampton A growing technology company with commercial deployments already underway is looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support production, service engineering and ongoing product development activities.
This is a varied role within a fast-moving engineering environment where you will work closely with R&D, Supply Chain and external manufacturing partners to help deliver complex electro-mechanical products used within highly regulated industries.
Supporting goods-in inspection activities and investigating supplier non-conformances• Providing first-line manufacturing support to subcontract partners• Diagnosing, repairing and testing returned customer equipment• Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions• Supporting ongoing engineering and development projects within the laboratory environment• Managing asset tracking and calibration processes for tools and measuring equipment• Driving improvements across manufacturing processes, quality systems and documentation
Experience within a manufacturing environment• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical products• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across electronics and test systems• Experience operating within quality systems such as ISO9001• PCBA or cable assembly…
