Job Description:

Maker Partnerships Manager

Department  Operations

Employment Type  Full time, London

Office Attendance  Monday to Thursday in the office, Friday WFH

Description

At &Dine, we’re building a community of foodies and the UK’s most exciting independent Makers, bringing brilliant food into the workplaces that care about how their teams eat, connect and celebrate.

We’re looking for a Maker Partnerships Manager to grow &Dine’s supply side. You’ll own the end to end journey of bringing new Makers on board, from first conversation through to going live, building strong relationships and managing stakeholders along the way.

The Maker Partnerships Manager will work side by side with our Head of Operations and closely with our Co-Founder. It’s a fantastic learning opportunity, with real responsibility and autonomy from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Win new Maker partnerships. You’ll identify and approach Maker businesses that are the right fit for &Dine. You’ll lead conversations from first contact through to signed agreement and to Makers going live, building genuine relationships along the way.
  • Be strategic about the Makers you bring on. The quality of our Maker network is what sets &Dine apart. You’ll think carefully about gaps in our offering across cuisine types, dietary coverage, unique selling points, price points and geography, and target new Makers accordingly. Quality over volume, every time.
  • Launch Makers with the right services. You’ll work closely with each new Maker, whether restaurant, QSR or caterer, to ensure they launch with the right &Dine products, whether that’s platters, individual portions, Events or pop-ups. You’ll understand their capabilities, set expectations clearly, and make sure their first client experiences land brilliantly.
  • Be the Maker’s champion internally. Once a Maker is live, you’ll be their advocate inside &Dine, feeding back to product, operations and client teams to keep the supply side improving, and giving the commercial team the context and confidence to sell your new partners well.
  • Set up Makers for commercial success. Using customer data and your Maker knowledge, you’ll build a clear launch and first-60-days plan for each new partner, including the initial offers that drive incremental growth for &Dine and our Makers.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • 2+ years experience in a sales, partnerships or business development role
  • A natural relationship builder who’s credible and genuinely curious about food, its quality, presentation and experience
  • Commercial instinct, with a clear sense of what makes a good partnership rather than a quick win
  • Strong organisational skills, comfortable juggling multiple discussions and stakeholders
  • Diligent and process driven, able to bring partners on a seamless journey from first conversation to going live
  • Enthusiasm for independent food businesses and the London food scene
  • Experience in marketplaces, food and hospitality, or a two-sided platform is a bonus

The type of person we’re looking for

  • A people person first. You build rapport quickly and people genuinely enjoy dealing with you, founders and chefs especially.
  • Curious about food. You read menus for fun, you have opinions on restaurants, and you know what good looks like.
  • Commercially sharp. You can spot an opportunity, run a number in your head, and make a case for why a partner is the right one (or not).
  • Self-starting. You’re happy operating with autonomy, owning your pipeline and making decisions without waiting to be told.
  • Detail orientated. Contracts, onboarding steps, follow-ups: you don’t drop the ball.
  • Brand minded. You care about how &Dine shows up to the Makers you bring on, and you represent us well in every conversation.

Benefits of working at &Dine

  • Equity options — become a part-owner of the business
  • £250 learning & development budget to support your growth
  • CharlieHR access, with exclusive discounts from brands like John Lewis and Samsung
  • £500 referral bonus for successful hires you introduce
  • Team socials — we’re serious about food, drink, and great company
  • Lunches — regular tastings and lunches in the office every week
  • Monthly team awards — win month on month for great performance and ownership
