Head of Business Development – CRO

Location: UK with expected travel to Newcastle upon Tyne

WHO?

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, venture-backed CRO developing advanced laboratory models that provide food, biotech, and pharmaceutical organisations with the data they need to deliver the health products of the future.

WHAT?

This is a hands-on, leadership position focused on both gaining new business in the pharma space, driving revenue growth, alongside leading a small business development team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This position will focus on driving growth in the pharmaceutical market.

YOU?

Proven sales experience selling complex, bespoke scientific services in the CRO/CDMO space.

Strong pharma industry market knowledge and experience in the CDMO/CRO space.

Proven leadership experience with a passion for driving and achieving results

Skills: Service sales, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
