Job Title: Quality Manager
Salary: £50,000–£65,000
Location: Leeds
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the company’s quality function, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards
- Oversee quality systems, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring all corrective actions are implemented and closed out effectively
- Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and reduce defects
- Manage and develop the quality team, providing training, guidance, and performance management
- Ensure customer complaints are investigated and resolved in a timely and professional manner
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 essential; additional standards advantageous)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
- Experience managing audits and dealing with external auditors or customers
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the business
- Engineering or manufacturing background preferred
