Are you an experienced Technical Leader with a passion for delivering complex, system-led projects? We’re looking for a Technical Project Lead to take ownership of the end-to-end technical delivery of a flagship Royal Navy simulation programme.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape technical direction, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure cutting-edge solutions are delivered to the highest standards.
The Opportunity
As Technical Lead, you will act as the technical authority across a major simulation programme, driving delivery from concept through to acceptance.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the technical solution and delivery of a large-scale simulator project
- Acting as the focal point for all technical decisions across the programme
- Ensuring solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards, and timelines
- Coordinating engineering activities across design, integration, test, and acceptance
- Building strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and subcontractors
- Identifying and managing technical risks and driving mitigation strategies
- Supporting bids, proposals, and change activities with technical insight
- Mentoring and guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams to foster excellence
