We are currently working with a local authority in the West Midlands who are looking to appoint a locum Planning Lawyer on an initial 6-month contract.
This will be a part-time position for aproximately 14 hours per week, can be based fully remotely, and offers an hourly rate of circa £45 – £50 per hour, via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience with planning law within local government.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a varied caseload of planning matters, including s106 and s37 agreements
- Advising on planning matters to do with major projects in the region
- Drafting and advising s.106 agreements, CIL, certificates of lawful use and advising on other planning related matters
- Providing advice to the client group on varied Planning matters, including advising on appeal enquiries and other associated matters as required
Experience required:
- Experience required in Local Government
- Experience required with planning law
Working hours:
- 14 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
