AI Video Production Manager

Malaberg is a fast-growing scale-up transforming lives with premium health, nutrition, and skincare brands, built entirely in-house as we scale across the UK and US markets.
We’re hiring an AI Video Production & Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution, quality control, and scaling of our AI-powered video production pipeline.
This role combines creative production, operations, and AI systems. You will work closely with video editors, copywriters, and automation workflows to ensure high-quality video output at scale while solving technical bottlenecks and improving production efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organised, technically curious, operationally strong, and understands what makes short-form video content perform well.
What You Will Do
- Manage AI video production workflows from script through final delivery.
- Oversee video quality control and ensure outputs meet creative and brand standards.
- Coordinate and communicate daily with video editors.
- Manage editor workload, capacity, and production timelines.
- Troubleshoot AI production issues, workflow blockers, and technical holdups.
- Collaborate with the copy and content team to align scripts with video capabilities and creative direction.
- Help design, improve, and maintain automation workflows across the production pipeline.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Organise workflows, SOPs, and production tracking within Notion.
- Ensure consistency across output quality, formatting, pacing, and style.

- Experience managing video production workflows or creative operations.
- Strong understanding of video quality control and editing standards.
- Excellent communication and project management skills. You are a proactive communicator who keeps editors and creative teams aligned.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You are process-oriented and systems-driven.
- Clear understanding of Notion and operational documentation.
- Ability to problem-solve independently in fast-moving environments.
- Technical curiosity. You are willing to learn AI tooling and automation systems, and you stay close to emerging creative technologies.
- Operationally minded but creatively aware. You can hold multiple moving parts simultaneously without losing the quality bar.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with AI video generation tools and workflows.
- Familiarity with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom AI pipelines.
- An understanding of short-form content performance and social media editing styles.
- Experience scaling content production systems.
- Basic technical troubleshooting abilities across AI and creative tools.
