Technical Engineering Manager

Leeds | £65,000 – £70,000 + Benefits

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing business to recruit an Engineering Manager for a key leadership position within their operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional who enjoys delivering projects, improving manufacturing performance, and driving change within a fast-paced production environment.

The business is undergoing significant investment and growth, with multiple projects planned across new machinery, automation, production lines, tooling, and process improvement. They are looking for someone who can bring structure, energy, and strong project leadership capability to help move the operation forward.

This role would suit someone with experience within high-volume manufacturing environments such as plastics, injection moulding, FMCG, packaging, polymer processing, or similar industries.

The Role:

  • Lead engineering projects from concept through to completion
  • Manage CAPEX investment projects and project timelines
  • Support the installation of new production lines, equipment, and automation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and engineering processes
  • Work closely with senior leadership to provide project updates and operational support
  • Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support operational teams with technical expertise and engineering guidance when required
  • Play a key role in shaping future engineering strategy as the business continues to grow

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience within an Engineering Manager, Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar role
  • Strong project management capability with experience delivering CAPEX projects
  • Experience within fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • A background in plastics, injection moulding, FMCG, packaging, or automated manufacturing would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Someone proactive, organised, and comfortable driving change
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to support operational challenges where needed
