An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised, market-leading business operating within the speciality ingredients and distribution sector.

This company partners with some of the world’s most well-known brands and manufacturers, supplying innovative products and solutions across multiple industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a driven and customer-focused individual to join their commercial operations team.

The Role

You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a seamless service from order placement through to delivery. Acting as a central point of contact, you will work closely with customers, suppliers, sales teams, and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end customer order process through internal ERP systems
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer queries, delivery updates, and order management
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively across phone, email, and internal systems
  • Support the wider commercial and operational teams to ensure excellent customer service levels
  • Maintain accurate records and system updates to support business operations
  • Assist with pricing, delivery coordination, and general administrative support

What They’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with numbers, pricing, and product quantities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience within customer service, administration, sales support, or order processing would be advantageous
