An established specialist surveying consultancy is seeking experienced MRICS and AssocRICS Building Surveyors to undertake Housing Disrepair inspections and reporting work across the UK.

This opportunity would suit surveyors looking for additional consultancy work alongside their existing commitments or those seeking a consistent pipeline of inspection and reporting assignments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections relating to Housing Disrepair claims
• Produce detailed survey reports and schedules of works
• Diagnose building defects and identify remedial solutions
• Prepare expert reports to a professional standard
• Respond to post-report queries and technical clarifications where required
• Liaise with legal professionals and other stakeholders involved in the claims process

Requirements

• MRICS or AssocRICS qualified
• Background in Building Surveying
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and building pathology
• Experience producing professional survey reports
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Housing Disrepair experience beneficial but not essential
