# Workshop Manager – Critical Power & Power Generation

Are you an experienced engineering leader with a background in power generation, critical power, generators or heavy engineering workshops?

We are recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join a major long-term infrastructure and critical power project that is set to run through to 2035.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a busy workshop operation, lead skilled engineering teams, and drive operational excellence across service, repair, overhaul and project delivery activities.

## The Role

You will be responsible for managing workshop operations, engineering teams, productivity, HSE standards, customer delivery and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in:

– Driving workshop efficiency and performance

– Leading and mentoring engineering teams

– Managing service delivery and turnaround times

– Improving processes and operational standards

– Supporting large-scale critical power projects

– Maintaining exceptional HSEQ standards

– Building a positive, high-performance culture

## What We’re Looking For

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within:

– Critical Power

– Power Generation

– Generators

– Heavy Plant

– Rotating Equipment

– Industrial Engineering

– Data Centre Power

– Load Banks

– Diesel Engines or associated engineering sectors

You will ideally have:

– Previous experience managing a workshop or engineering operation

– Strong leadership and people management skills

– Experience driving operational improvements

– Commercial awareness and customer focus

– A proactive and hands-on management style

– Excellent communication and organisational skills
