Health And Safety Advisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a leading construction organisation, supporting a large scale project in South Lanarkshire.

The Role:

As HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining high standards of Health, Safety & Environmental compliance across multiple construction sites. You will work closely with site teams to ensure safe working practices are embedded at every level.

• Support and advise site teams on all HSE matters
• Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions
• Promote a strong safety-first culture across all projects
• Produce clear and accurate HSE documentation and reports

About You:

• Proven experience in an HSE role within construction or a similar industry
• Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
• Confident carrying out audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at site level
• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) required; IOSH membership desirable
• Proactive, detail-focused, and able to work independently.
