We are partnering with a global, innovation-led biopharmaceutical organisation to find a Neuroscience Specialist/Project & Partnerships Coordinator to join their Neuroscience Search & Evaluation team.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science, business development, and external innovation, helping identify and assess breakthrough therapies and technologies.

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative, international team working across the UK and US (including Boston, New York, and Indianapolis), supporting the evaluation and progression of cutting-edge opportunities in neuroscience.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll act as a central coordinator ensuring smooth delivery of external innovation evaluations:

  • Coordinate external partnerships
  • Manage agreements (e.g. Confidentiality Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements)
  • Liaise with legal and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely execution
  • Support scientific evaluation & due diligence
  • Schedule and coordinate cross-functional meetings
  • Support subject matter experts during evaluation processes
  • Collate data, produce reports, and develop presentation materials
  • Drive operational excellence
  • Maintain accurate records within evaluation and reporting systems
  • Manage information flow across global stakeholders
  • Ensure timelines and deliverables are tracked effectively
  • Enhance processes through innovation
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and introduce AI tools
  • Support adoption of new technologies (e.g. generative AI tools)

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • BSc in a relevant scientific field (e.g. Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Biochemistry)
  • Experience in project coordination, project management, or data management within pharma, biotech, or a related environment
  • Proven ability to work in matrixed, cross-functional teams
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

  • MSc or certifications (e.g. Project Management, PMP)
  • Understanding of the drug development process
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build internal networks
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude, generative AI platforms)
